Okay… y’all see this? 👀 Because THIS is the conversation I was talking about.
BET shared a sneak peek from Nick Cannon At Night asking whether the statement “White women are more sexually free” is an unpopular opinion or a hot take with some truth. The clip features Dr. Umar Johnson explaining the argument behind that statement and the different standards he says Black women and white women can face when it comes to sexuality, relationships and being viewed as “marriage material.”

Now, I’m not telling y’all what to think. I want to know whether you agree with the point being made, disagree completely, or think there’s more to the conversation than what this clip gives us.
Because when we start talking about Black women, white women, sexuality, respectability and who gets judged for what, it gets complicated FAST.
